It’s time to get your business ready or developing startups for 2021. This is the perfect time to start getting ready with 2021 planners.

The problem is there are so many planners out there, also knowing the difference between purpose and passion and how you want to plan your business. How do you know which one is right for you? Do you go digital or physical? Do you need monthly or weekly?

I’ll admit that I have a few planners for different parts of my business. I use Trello to plan a lot, but I still need a physical planner to write things down. I’ll have two on the go, one for private clients and one for my blogs. And they are all color coded.

Maybe one day I’ll go into my planning system, but I think it would be a headache for a lot of people. We have to do what works for us, and that’s why there are so many 2021 planners. There’s going to be something right for you.

Here are the top 2021 planners to help get yourself work at home ready for the year.

Leuchtturm1917 Weekly Planner + Notebook Medium (A5)

Price: $24

This weekly planner isn’t just a chance to plan out 2021. You can also plan out the whole of 2022. Yes, it’s a two-year planner. That’s one of the things that I adore about it. It’s going to be the most cost-effective option for you.

It comes in a variety of colors so you can match with your desk or your handbag or whatever it is you prefer to match with.

This is a very simple planner. There are monthly and weekly sections to write in. The weekly section is on the small side for me, but it’s great for those just starting out or those who want to keep track of their meetings.

One thing I do love is the Project Planner section. You can make a note of individual projects and mark the days you need to work on them.

Wonderland222 2021 Tomoe River Paper Weekly Planner

Price: $40

Do you prefer to plan out quarters as well as months and weeks? The Tomoe River Paper Weekly Planner from Wonderland 222 is something worth considering.

It’s designed for business purposes, allowing you to plan out projects by the quarter and then delve deeper into the sections through the monthly and weekly plans.

Something I adore is how the pages are numbered. This isn’t common in most 2021 planners, but you can put a note to head back to a certain page for specific details. No need to write out notes again or spend time flicking through to find where you put them.

Kokuyo Jibun Techo 2021 Diary

Price: $70

This is more than just another of the 2021 planners availabe. The Kokuyo Jibun Techno diary is a self-planner, a life planner.

You won’t just get your business in order. As a work at home mom, you can get absolutely everything about your life in order. And we all know that WAHMs need to deal with life at home and their businesses at the same time.

This planner can be a little overwhelming at first. There are a lot of sections to work through. As you go through them and think about what you want to gain in 2021, you’ll find it much easier to work through.

Clever Fox Planner – Weekly & Monthly Planner to Increase Productivity

Price: $25

If you want to plan much more than just your day or select projects, you’ll want to get your hands on the Clever Fox Planner.

There are pages to map out your goals. You set monthly and yearly goals, and then figure out how to get there through steps. It’s a full system to help you grow your business, while also organizing your life.

There is also a gratitude journal throughout. Sometimes we lose sight of the good things. I love 2021 planners that include gratitude journals to encourage remembering the things we’re thankful for.

Something that I do love the most about this planner is that it’s undated. If you like to take weekends off or you have a week’s holiday, you don’t have to feel like you’ve wasted a page in your planner. Just skip the week and date with the next week. Simples!

2021 Daily Planner: Artfully Abstract

Price: $59

The last suggestion on the list is for those who prefer daily planners. If you’re anything like me, this is what you’re looking out for and finding it difficult to get. So many love their weekly planners now that there are so many online tools for daily 2021 planners.

This planner still has monthly sections, but the big draw is that it’s one day to a page. You can make a note of the tasks you want to complete, there’s a timed section allowing you to make notes of appointments and meetings, and there’s a section at the bottom of each page for notes.

There’s also some goal setting worksheets, allowing you to plan out your projects. If you love bookmark rulers, this planner comes with one.

Want to know my favorite thing? It’s spiral-bound. I prefer these as I only have a small space on my desk for a planner to sit, so it needs to be on the smaller side and be able to fold back.

5 Top 2021 Planners to Get Your Business Ready

2021 planners: Physical or digital?

Now you just need to decide which type of planner you prefer. I’ve always found daily planners the best for my business, but there are benefits in smaller, monthly or weekly planners.

But what about the digital options? They’re still worth using. I will always use Trello to help plan, and I’ve found Asana useful recently when I just need to get focused on all the tasks for a day.

There’s nothing wrong with switching between physical and digital if you need to. Make your 2021 planners work for you to grow your business.
