Where Are the Blog Posts I Promised?

Blog Posts

So, it turns out that May is a very busy time for the TV show niche. It’s only been this year that I’ve really noticed it, as I’ve taken up the niche fully. So, when I promised to make May the month to give plenty of residual income writing tips, I never realized what I was going to face from the networks.

June has been one of those months I’ve needed to recover. The last thing I’ve wanted to do is write much more than I need to. Then the more that I left it, the more I worried about writing this blog post. I’ll admit that I was worried about what you would think. After all, I promised something and never delivered. I will admit that it was just the blog that suffered. Everything else in my business continued to plod along, but my own blogs suffered. Some haven’t been updated for months at all!

That’s going to change but not right now. I’ve decided that everything will change in July. It was actually an email for the Ultimate Blogging Challenge that drew my attention to the time of year–to the fact that we’re halfway through June already. When I realized that, I knew that I just had to do the Ultimate Blogging Challenge or the 30-Day Blogging Challenge again. And I need to do it properly.

Starting from July 1, I’m going to blog daily here. The focus will be on the revenue share sites, offering tips for applying to the site, ideas on places to apply, reviews of the sites I’m at or have been at, and other similar topics. Between now and then I’m going to get a schedule and plan in order and set out my topics. That way, I can simply write and (my plan is to) write ahead of time. I want to be able to have just the images to add in on the day to publish and get the content out to you.

The 30-Day Blogging Challenge has always been something fun to do. I’ve become more focus when doing it and enjoyed connecting with other bloggers in the group. I feel like July is the right time to give myself time to get focused. Plus, July should be a little quieter right now because of the main TV shows are off. I do have my daughter’s birthday, but I can take the time now to get ahead of writing the blog posts and make sure everything is scheduled and ready to go.

If you want to learn more about the 30-Day Blogging Challenge, I shared my experience of doing it once. This is a challenge that I’ve done numerous times but stepped back from it in recent years. Other writing took over. Now it’s time to focus on blogging on my own blogs again and keep it up. The 30-Day Blogging Challenge is the way to do that.

Will you join in with the 30-Day Blogging Challenge? What type of topics would you like me to cover next month? Let me know in the comments below.
