If you have a power-chewing dog, you’ll want to get sturdy toys. The Bullymake guarantee promises that, but does it work? Will you save money on dog toys?

My huskies will chew through everything and anything. A lot of toys don’t last, especially when they’re made of softer fabrics. To save some money, I opted to try out Bullymake a few years ago.

Let me say that I’m still with Bullymake. I no longer get the boxes everything month, though. Now, the boxes come through once a quarter because the toys are just so good.

I’ve had to use the Bullymake guarantee* once because of a toy. Yes, it does work, and here’s what you need to know about it.

What is the Bullymake guarantee?

Bullymake promises that the toys are durable for even the strongest of power-chewers. If your toy is destroyed, the company will send out a replacement. The guarantee is also in place for if a dog doesn’t like a toy. I haven’t tried it out for that reason. I’ve tried it out when a toy was demolished within 10 minutes.

I’m not sure how long the guarantee lasts. That’s the bit that isn’t clear on the website. After all, would you really complain if a toy was destroyed after a year of constant use? I wouldn’t!

Do you get the same item?

The downside of the Bullymake guarantee is that you don’t get the exact same item. You’ll get another toy from the collection of toys that Bullymake offers. It will be of the same style of toy, though.

My female husky got through one of the ballistic toys. That’s the type of toy that was sent out to me as a replacement. It was just the ball on the end of the toy that was destroyed so the rest of it was fine, but because part of the toy was done for, Bullymake sent out the free replacement.

Take a photo of the toy

Don’t throw the toy out when it’s destroyed. You’ll need to take a photo of it to be able to send to Bullymake*. This allows people there to see what the damage is. I guess part of it is there to make sure your dog has damaged it and you didn’t take a pair of scissors to something, but I think it’s also there to see what was wrong with the toy. How did a dog manage to destroy something that was supposed to be indestructible?

It wasn’t difficult to get my replacement. I took a photo and sent it via the online chat. Then the customer support simply checked it and confirmed the shipment of a replacement.

Again, I’m not sure how it works if your dog doesn’t like the toy. I’ve not had to try that one as my dogs love all the toys—although not the rubber ones as much as others. The nylon toys are definitely the favorites of both my dogs now.
