I love Chefs Plate meals for my children and for my overall lifestyle. It’s absolutely perfect for someone running their own business.

I’ve talked about Chefs Plate before. This is something that has helped me save a fortune on my grocery bills. At a time when we’re being squeezed everywhere, I appreciate that Chefs Plate boxes haven’t gone up in price.

These meal plan kits don’t just help save money. They are great while I run two businesses. The time tha tI have with my children is precious, and I like to work around the kids’ schedules with me. So, that means even less time to do some of the day-to-day stuff, including grocery shopping and meal planning.

All my groceries together with Chefs Plate

There are a few pantry staples that you need. These are items you’ll likely already have in the house, such as milk, flour, sugar, salt, pepper, etc. Everything else is included in the boxes. There is no need to go to the grocery store to pick up all the ingredients you need for the meals.

On top of that, there are only the amount of ingredients that you need for the meal. You don’t end up with any waste, so there’s no need to figure out what to do with the leftovers. As my kids are getting older but not quite big enough for me to go from two to four meals, I have been padding the meals out with extra vegetables and I add extra pasta to the pasta dishes. The costs still stay low.

Running your own business means you don’t really have time to do the grocery shop. That time can be spent better, and now you can do just that since the meal kits have it all included.

No need to plan meals for the week

With this meal kit (and all the others) here are recipes to choose from. I go through the menu for the week while I’m drinking my morning coffee or while I’m waiting for dance class to finish.

I remember going through recipe books for ideas, and then I’d still end up eating the same meals over and over again. Life got boring and I didn’t look forward to cooking. Now, I get a variety and I don’t need to worry about getting all the ingredients together because the meal kit has it all.

The time saved allows me to spend more time with my kids when I have them. When I don’t, I get to work on my business or just have the break that I need mentally.

It’s all delivered to your door

Every Thursday, I get the Chefs Plate delivery. There’s only been one occasion where it didn’t turn up, and on one occasion it was at my neighbor’s door instead. However, for the most part, over the last three years, I’ve not had a problem with the deliveries.

The fact that everything is delivered is great for running a business. I don’t need to take the time out to head over to the grocery store. I don’t have to take time out to go pick the boxes up from anywhere. I just open my door and spend a couple of minutes putting everything in the fridge.
