It’s all about making money blogging this month.

It’s day two of my own video challenge, and I’m really happy to say that the sound quality with my laptop is so much better. I’m just really sorry about the glare from my glasses. I can’t do much about that though, and wouldn’t be able to see the laptop screen without them (yesterday I was in contacts!)

My video shares the plan for the month, and I’m going to be focusing on the different ways you can make money with your blogs. The (sort of) transcript is below to get you the jist of things I say without having to watch the video if that’s what you prefer.

Video 2: The Plan for the Month

Hey everyone. So it’s time for video 2!

Today I just want to go over my plans for the next month. I mentioned yesterday that I wanted to do videos three days a week, and I’ve already got a plan for them.

This month, I want to focus on ways to make money with your own blog. It’s something that came up in comments during last months’ series, and there’s the perfect amount of days of videos to go over each one with you. I’ll start with some of the more common ones and then work through ones that I’m looking into trying in the future.

It really is all planned out. This is my blogging calendar for all my individual blogs. And I’ve got something set up for them all for the next three months! Yup, all planned up until the end of the year.

I look forward to sharing all the different ways that you can make money with your blog. There are so many options available!

Oh and at the end of each week, I’ll do a mini roundup of my posts. There’s only going to be three a week, but it will still be good to keep them collected together. And then at the end of the month I can do a monthly roundup.

See you next week!

So then, what is your plan for the month? Do you want to introduce them now or have you done already?

  1. I’m amazed that you have so much material for blogs worked out in advance. Unfortunately, I can’t do that because I rely on the daily news for my posts. However, sometimes an idea comes to me and I try to find a story to link to it.

    1. That’s one of the reasons why I don’t really do much on news, Francene. I have one site where I focus on the daily news, but find it such hard work at times. I like having a plan of attack 🙂

    1. The organization is often why I can’t do things at the last minute. I then often have to change a plan, and I sometimes get my heart set on a series I’m doing. The plan for the next few months is just loose though, so I can make changes here and there if I need to.

    1. With the amount of blogs I have, I need to be this organized. This is just my blogs. I haven’t even covered the other places that I write yet. I’m printing off some more of these calendars today and going to plan ahead for the month.

  2. Looking forward to your video series Alexandria. Boy, you’ve got one heck of a list there, but it helps to write it down and get it in front of you so you can stay on track. That’s what I’ll be doing this weekend.

    1. It looks big, doesn’t it? It’s one blog a day pretty much, except three days a week where I’ll be doing two blogs. Writing it all down has really helped though 🙂

  3. YOU ARE SO ORGANIZED!! My GOSH!!! I look forward to learning more about how to make money with your blog!! I like your speaking voice.. where are you from? 🙂

    1. I try, Tamala. I figure if I have it all planned and I show people, that means there’s a level of accountability and I need to stick to that plan 🙂 My accent is a mixture of all sorts. I currently live in Scotland, and there’s a bit of a Scottish twang coming through, but it’s mostly a Yorkshire accent 🙂

    1. It’s only a rough plan for now. At the end of each month, I’ll double check that it’s still something I want to do. I just like to be organized. It’s part of my OCD.

    1. Yes, that’s one of the reasons I don’t touch news too much. I know for the site that I do the news stuff for it’s really hard sometimes to find something to write about that interests me enough. But then planning ahead like this can be a hassle; constantly trying to find something new to say.

  4. Great job of organizing! I, too, need to do a plan. I usually post late because I use something that day to write about but I absolutely need to be organized so that I’m not scrambling.
    Thanks!

    1. That’s great! I’m really glad to hear that you’re already seeing a difference with planning. I’d love to hear how it works out for the rest of the month.

  5. Love your accent!
When I did my first blog challenge, I had planned out my blog topics ahead of time. It worked best. Life has been so busy lately that I haven’t been able to keep up posting every day. You’ve inspired me to get organized to keep up.
    Looking forward to your series.

    1. Thanks, Barbara. Planning my topics ahead of time helps me too. I know for some it doesn’t really work, but if you can do it I recommend it.
