Whether you work at home or in a workplace, you need to start your day just right. Make sure you start your day with exercise.

Starting your day right is essential. It will set you up for a productive workday. Even if you’re not working, it will set you up for a productive day in general.

You don’t need to do a lot of exercise to benefit. You could start your day with some stretches or some yoga, or you could opt for a dip in the pool or an exercise club. I find that I do a lot more during the day in a shorter space of the day when I’ve started with some form of exercise. I am able to concentrate better on my work tasks, and on my days off, I’m more energized to get the housework done so I end up doing more.

Do you tend to grab something quick at the coffee shop on your way to work? Maybe you choose the unhealthy breakfast in the house. You could end up making the unhealthier choices later in the day.

Maybe you work from home and have intentions to do a dance workout in the house or go out for a run. Whatever it is, are you really going to do it? You get so tired during the day that you end up deciding you’ll do it “tomorrow” instead.

Guess what, tomorrow never comes!

Once you start your day with exercise, it’s done. You have got it out of the way, and you end up feeling so much better throughout the day. You feel good because the workout is completed, and you don’t need to keep your motivation up to go later. You also don’t feel bad that you’ve skipped it on the way home from work again!
