The FBI Season 8 Midseason Premiere Will Bring the Wedding We’ve Been Waiting For

FBI Season 8

There have been many exciting moments over the years on FBI, but for the last couple of seasons, all we’ve wanted is for one wedding to happen. Nina Chase and Stuart Scola are one of the couples to root for, and the FBI Season 8 midseason premiere promises a wedding.

Now, when we reached the end of FBI: Most Wanted, Nina did tell her dad that she was happy with her life with Scola the way it currently was. The two didn’t need to get married, but people are allowed to change their minds, and that’s what will happen.

Why would they choose to get married? Well, Nina is joining the team in an undercover operation that involves a cartel wedding. It’s possible that events that happen at the wedding push Nina and Scola into realizing that they should get married, cementing their bond further.

What’s even more exciting is the images released for FBI Season 8 Episode 11. There’s one of Scola and Nina together with OA looking like he’s officiating the wedding. The two are surrounded by their family, which includes Jubal, Isobel, and Maggie. And yes, Maggie has little Dougie, who is proudly getting to see his parents get married.

The only one missing is Eva. It’s possible that she is just behind everyone else and out of view of the camera, but it’s also possible that she felt like she would be overstepping. She only recently joined the team, and she won’t know Nina just yet. The others have all worked with Nina in some sort of capacity.

The best thing is we didn’t need the images to show us that the wedding was happening. The synopsis for FBI Season 8 Episode 11 tells us it’s on!

Hopefully an FBI: Most Wanted Update

Along with the wedding, we’re hoping for an update about the Fugitive Task Force. There’s been no word on FBI Season 8 that Nina left that team, and we know at the end of FBI: Most Wanted that Barnes was taking over as the leader.

We’ve wanted to see how the Fugitive Task Force is doing with Barnes in the lead. At no point have we been worried about it, but it would just be great to hear all about how this team is thriving and even getting to hear about a potential new addition with Remy retiring. All it takes is a line or two to get us all updated on the rest of the team that we miss.

We do have another FBI spinoff to look forward to, as this series returns, and that could also open the door for mentions of FBI: Most Wanted or FBI: International characters. Get ready for CIA, which will feature crossover moments with FBI.

FBI Season 8 Episode 11 airs on Monday, Feb. 23 at 9/8c on CBS.
