The fall 2026 lineup is starting to shape up, with FOX being the next network to announce plans. Most of the announcement will come as no surprise, with FOX choosing stability over change. However, there are some small tweaks that are sure to have a big impact.
Much of the network’s lineup is going to be sports or unscripted. However, Sunday nights will still remain comedy central — although, no longer fully Animation Domination — and Tuesdays will continue to have a lineup of scripted content. Many shows are moving to the midseason, with one moving for the first time in its 14-year run.
Animal Control Moves to Sundays
Murder in a Small Town will be held for the midseason, while Memory of a Killer will remain there despite its success during the January 2026 lineup. It makes sense as FOX moves to an unscripted lineup for Monday nights.
The only night to have scripted drama is Tuesdays, with Best Medicine moving to the fall with Doc running in the hour behind it. This Tuesday night lineup has been successful for the network throughout the midseason of 2026, so there is hope that it continues up against the fall lineup across the board. The biggest competition on Tuesdays remains NCIS, as CBS continues that lineup throughout the fall.
The Masked Singer remains held for the midseason at this point, with The Floor airing on Wednesdays. It will be followed by 99 to Beat, and then we’ll get a night of Gordon Ramsey and Special Forces on Thursdays.
The big surprise is going to be Animal Control getting its first fall slate and moving to Sundays! It will air after The Simpsons in an unusual move, with Bob’s Burgers being held for the midseason for the first time ever.
